Business Development Associate
We are seeking a high-energy and competitive candidate who is interested in a position where he or she will be given the opportunity to earn variable compensation. The Associate will prospect new business opportunities in the small business sector (5-50 employees), with a focus on Architectural, Engineering, IT, Software, and consulting firms. Your responsibilities will include: meeting monthly quota of sales volume and scheduled prospect meetings; developing, reviewing and qualifying a sizable stream of new business leads; sustaining a high volume of outbound phone calls and e-mails to prospects; keeping detailed contact notes and manage a pipeline of prospects using a Customer Relationship Management System; writing Statements of Work for bookkeeping and IT services in conjunction with business line managers; and negotiating professional services agreement terms and conditions.
If you have a related bachelor’s degree, 2 years’ experience in B2B professional services sales, 2 years of CRM software experience, 1 year experience managing social medical accounts; plus a basic understanding of small business accounting and bookkeeping and a basic understanding of business IT systems; along with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, self-confidence, and an entrepreneurial spirit, please apply by sending your resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
